The Status of International Students at Kütahya Dumlupınar University According to the 2025 University Monitoring and General Evaluation Report
According to data from the 2024 University Monitoring and Evaluation General Report, Kütahya Dumlupınar University ranks among the leading universities in Turkey in this field, with an international student ratio of 16.43%. When evaluated within the context of public universities, this ratio serves as a significant indicator of the university’s level of internationalization.
This achievement demonstrates that the university’s initiatives to attract international students in recent years have yielded tangible results. The fact that it is able to attract a share of global student mobility despite its regional location indicates improvements in the accessibility of academic programs, promotional activities, and institutional support for international students.
Although the ratio is relatively low when compared to foundation universities, an international student ratio exceeding 16% can be considered a significant threshold for sustainable internationalization. In this context, strengthening the university’s international partnerships and supporting a multicultural academic structure will enhance its international visibility in the long term.
