Our University Attracted Significant Interest at the Morocco-Turkey Universities Education Fair

Our university made a significant contribution to international promotion and cooperation efforts by participating in the Morocco-Turkey Universities Education Fair held in the Moroccan cities of Casablanca and Rabat. At the fair events held in both cities, our university’s booth attracted considerable interest from Moroccan students.

The fair program was also attended by Mr. Mahmut M. ÖZDİL, President of the Turkish Maarif Foundation, and Mr. İlker KILIÇ, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Morocco.

Representing our university, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Derya DELİKTAŞ, Director of the Center for International Relations and International Student Coordination, Application, and Research, and Dr. Figen KARAFERYE, Quality Coordinator of our university, attended the fair. At the event, which saw the participation of a total of 25 universities from Turkey—including both foundation and state universities—our university’s booth attracted significant interest in both cities.

Throughout the fair, comprehensive information was provided regarding our university’s academic programs, educational structure, admission requirements, living and housing options, social amenities, and the profile of international students. The strong interest shown by Moroccan students in Turkish universities and Turkish culture once again demonstrated that academic cooperation between Turkey and Morocco continues to strengthen.

Participation in these fairs held in Casablanca and Rabat represents a strategic step in line with our university’s internationalization policy; it is expected to yield significant benefits in terms of enhancing our university’s global visibility, developing new academic collaborations, and contributing to international student mobility.
